International Day of Love

So how did your valentine day go guys???

All u singles out there.. did you flirt the day away??
anyone's got any special moments to share??

Let me tell you mine...

Day started out pretty normal.. with the boy driving my uncle to bus-stop early in the morning... i opted to stay back at home for two reasons..
1) maid would come by 7:30..
2) had big plans of baking a home-made-valentine-chocolate-cake for the boy..

I just had half n hour to make the cake.. cos the boy would be back by then.. wanted the cake to be a surprise for the boy.. But for my great horror.. turned out only one glass of milk was left and the recipe needed minimum 2 glasses.. i decided on trying it out with just 1 glass.. with the cake batter ready .. all that was needed was to place it in the cooker. and with this done. i just had to wait for the boy to be surprised ....

Boy came back in no time with a bunch of roses n carnations(oh yeah i love carnations :) .. especially red ones)... cake was still in the cooker ..n by then the whole house had started to smell of the baking cake.. my boy has got one hell of a inquisitive nose.. n i din take him long to land in the kitchen with an raised eyebrow..as always any plans to surprise him in food section gets busted easily.. so i was caught red handed with the baking cake..

when the cake was ready to removed out from the cooker.. i realized that the dish in which i poured the batter inside the cooker had gotten tilted and water in the cooker had flowed into the vessel.. so cake wasn as i expected it.. but the boy munched on it anyways...

Boy took me valentine shopping in the noon and i ended up picking two jeans and one capris ( aha sale season... i just love this month for too many reasons ;).. )..
One of boy's friends got this complimentary passes for place called i-bar for the evening... so we ended up over there .. nothing like a good music and a round of drinks n dinner with friends on a valentine evening. It was perfect double date.. clicked too many crazy snaps..

The most embarrassing part of the evening was...me n boy's friend sheetal, wanted to teach these guys how to give a salsa dip pose for the photo.. she tried to dip me and was unable to take my weight **FYI- I weigh only 50 kgs.. please dont think otherwise**.. which resulted in a near fall and boy saving us both on time from the big crash... all the while i was laughing my heart out.(can say results of a two very strong cocktails... ) Reached home by 12 and it felt like the entire day had just passed on in a fast-forward flow..

Anyways tell me guys how did your international-day-of-love go????

PS: Woke up at 7:30 with a heavy heart.. n now at office.. as usual with a fresh set of Monday blues....
I HATE MONDAY MORNINGS :( ....

Moving on…Here comes my second award from sweet Moi for friendship. Thank you girl. I have known Moi for almost 6 years now. She is a very caring friend. She is great at advices for issues under any category too. But to know her caring side you gotta be in her list of good friends first. We both make a very deadly team when it comes to gossiping and commentary judgment. I mean to say we display all the characteristics of being girls!

Moi has already awarded this to LAncelot, Suresh, Mayz, Chriz, Hope, Akansha and Keshi. I wanna acknowledge them too. You guys are truly great.

Now i pass on this award to 8 Bloggers...

Now for some Entertainment news!

HAppy Holi People!
I guess all are busy celebrating Holi today at their offices and colleges. Enjoy guys and get colorful!
Today I remember my college days, where we used play holi like crazy cows.. run out of colors and then start pouring buckets of water on each other! Awww I miss those days!

On a more serious note..
Holi means the triumph of good over evil and conquest of sensual values by spiritual values (No doubt! Copied from Google search).. Nay i cant elaborate on that now..So I would only say.. be good guys and celebrate the day!

Adios for now my lovlies!

HaPpY nEw YeAr PeOpLe!!!!

Happy New Year Guys!!!

Finally its 2009.. If I was Back in school days, i would take atleast a week of January to get used to writing -/-/09 instead of -/-/08...Thank God i dont have to write down the dates on paper anymore!

Hope you all had a blast yesterday night guys!!

Well I celebrated my new years at home... I would say there are quite a few advantages of spending the new years eve at home...
- You dont have to wake up on the first day of the year in the noon with a hangover!
- You get to count your own countdown to the new years.
- You can listen to your favorite music and not complain about the music the DJ plays at the party!
- You are surrounded by people whom you actually know and not a bunch of strangers.

And you can go for a 10'o clock show and then crash at the pub on the very first day of the year :) !!!!

Yup i went for a 10'o clock show of Madagascar-Escape 2 Africa today! It feels good to spend your entire morning just laughing your heart outs!! Anyone out there interested in watching this movie..Please do go for it.. its good!
Right after the movie, after lot of heavy discussion me, path and geoff (my two other dharlingis who spent their new years too at home sweet home) ended up at a local pub(which has been like our second home)... We were the first customers for the day.. oh! the year too...and we guys made some dumb resolutions too(which we very well know wont be followed) ..

Here I am now on the very first post under my 2009 blog archive!
All you guys reading this post have a fabulous year ahead of you!

This post is dedicated to my dharlingis who spent their new years night at home.. raqs, path, geoff, moi!!!
